Check ATOL

Contact and report a concern

Who to contact depends on what you need.

Report a false ATOL claim

If a company shows an ATOL logo or number it isn't entitled to use, or you think a website is making false protection claims, report it to the Civil Aviation Authority:

atolcompliance@caa.co.uk

Include the company name, the website address, the ATOL number they showed you and screenshots if you have them.

A problem with your booking

  • The company has failed: follow our guide on what to do when a travel company fails.
  • You think you've been scammed: contact your bank straight away, then report it to Action Fraud, the UK's national reporting centre for fraud.
  • A complaint about a trading company: raise it with the company first. If that doesn't resolve it, the company's trade association or Citizens Advice can help.
